DOCTOR MAKANYARA MUKOTE
Doctor Makanyara Mukote, affectionately known as DOC or rather Big DOC as most of the fellow Safari guides call him, is a seasoned Safari Specialist who has led multitudes of Safaris through Eastern and Southern African countries many a times. His warm and friendly nature gives him the edge in having a personal connection with all his clients and fellow Safari guides.
His ability to connect with the locals in over ten countries that he conducts Safaris yearly and a vast network of contacts in the Safari business is an attribute which is rare in itself.
BigDOC started off his Guiding Career in 2006 when he joined Safari Training Services in his home country of Zimbabwe. From there he went on to join Field Environmental Conservation Africa (FECA) two years later before permanently moving to South Africa to join the private game reserves in the Eastern Cape Province where he stayed for a couple of years.
His calling for Overlanding Safaris eventually took over and he moved to join one of the leading Adventure companies where he conducted multi country Safaris for almost a decade and a half.
His pure love for all things nature, his vast experience in African Safari business, knowledge about the diverse fauna, flora, birdlife, cultures and terrains where he traverses makes BigDOC the Ultimate African Safari Guide.
MILTON MPUCHE
Milton Mpuche is an international Eco Tourism specialist guide. Based and operating from England.
He holds 3 Professional Guides licenses specializing in Walking, birding safari, and private guide. He has 23 years under his belt conducting various safari styles.
Notwithstanding Milton’s attributes, anyone wishing to more fully understand one of Africa’s great environmentalists and naturalists. His passion for nature remains unsurpassed.

RICARDO MUKOTE
Ricardo Mukote is a mentor and guide who has been instrumental in the formation of POA Safaris. Having worked in different industries from Powerline construction to commodity broking, his true love was ultimately tourism and hospitality. He found his feet whilst running a Beach Resort in Mozambique and has never looked back since then.
His expertise goes across multiple disciplines from multiple languages, culinary skills, fishing, an adventure activity specialist and above all his calm nature.
His African name is Munyaradzi, the Peacemaker, an aptly given name which suits his character. He is fluent in a multitude of African languages as well as Portuguese which he sharpened during his 15 year stay running a Beach Resort in Morrumbene, in Inhambane Province of Mozambique.

ALBERT VINCENT AMONI
Albert, better known as “Bert” is a self taught Specialist Guide who fell in love with nature and wildlife in his teen years. Always intrigued by the fauna and flora around him, the young inquisitive found a new passion and since then has never looked back.
His passion for wildlife grew over the years and the hunger for adventure drove him to join the overland industry and specialise with tribal, Cultural and Wildlife tours. Bert is a keen traveler who has also taken time to travel through some European countries in order to have an understanding of where the most travelers to Africa come from.
With over two decades of professional tour guiding, of which more than 15 years are of multiple country adventure travel, Bert is ever ready to showcase his passion for nature far and wide across the Motherland.
TONY SAKALA
Tony is a Zimbabwean born Professional Guide. Operating from his base in South Africa, he has traveled to all the Safari hotspots of the continent and have taken it further than the continental borders in his quest to fulfill a traveling quest.
A nature enthusiast who has great passion for guiding and showcasing the culture and traditions of Africa, Tony has done it all and more. He is a well experienced guide who has conducted multiple Safaris in Eastern and Southern Africa with some of the best companies in the industry.
Tony loves history and his story telling is compared to non other. Listening to him telling you about the ancient folklore, history about different tribes, the current shifts in his culture, nature and wildlife will leave you in awe.
Tony is defined as an all rounder guide who is always ready to deliver a splendid Safari and leave an exceptional impression upon his travelers.
